During October–November 2025, eight seminars as part of the new edition of the Polish Ministry of Education’s “Odkrywcy” program were held at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials for primary and secondary school students from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Masovian Voivodeships. The initiative aims to promote education and science while showcasing innovative approaches to polymer materials and processing technologies.
Participants of the PROMATAI project actively contributed to the seminars by sharing their knowledge, presenting selected project results, and promoting both the PROMATAI project and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). Students had the opportunity to attend lectures on fascinating aspects of polymers, explore equipment for plastics processing and finished product manufacturing, learn about composite material production processes, and see instruments used to study the structure and properties of materials.
In total, the events involved 8 schools, over 200 students, and 20 teachers, providing a hands-on and inspiring experience that highlights the practical applications of polymer science and advanced materials research.
