Sharing PROMATAI innovations at the “Innovation in Practice 2026” Conference

Breadcrumbs

From 17 to 19 June 2026, the 13th Scientific Conference “Innovation in Practice 2026” and Scientific Workshop on Polymers, Processin.g and Recycling were held in Lublin, Poland.

The event provided participants not only with an opportunity to attend scientific presentations and discussions but also to take part in practical technical sessions demonstrating modern polymer processing technologies. One of the highlights was a hands-on demonstration of blown film extrusion using advanced equipment from Thermo Fisher Scientific, enabling full monitoring and control of the technological process parameters.

This year’s event brought together approximately 200 researchers, innovators and industry representatives and featured 48 oral presentations and 68 scientific posters.

The PROMATAI project was represented at the conference through a co-authored scientific poster entitled “Advanced Grooved Feed Zone for Single-Screw Extrusion”, prepared by researchers from IEP, UWA, TUK, LPH, and CET. The poster presented key results achieved within Work Package 2 of the project, including the development of the Adjusted Grooved Feed Section (AGFS) prototype.

The conference created a valuable platform for presenting PROMATAI research activities, strengthening collaboration between academic and industrial partners, and engaging with specialists working in the field of polymer processing. The participation also contributed to increasing awareness of the project objectives and ongoing activities among the international polymer processing community.
