On 16 June 2026, the seminar “Injection Moulding and Additive Manufacturing” was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Košice (TUKE), Slovakia. The event focused on the latest trends and developments in polymer processing technologies, bringing together academic researchers, industry representatives, and members of the PROMATAI project team.

The seminar was opened with a welcome address by Prof. Emil Spišák, who highlighted the importance of cooperation between academia and industry in the development of modern manufacturing technologies. The programme included presentations covering additive manufacturing, injection moulding, and innovative approaches in polymer processing.

As part of the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Ivan Gajdoš delivered a lecture on the current state and future perspectives of additive manufacturing, while Eng. Pavol Štefčák presented practical demonstrations of 3D printing technologies in the laboratory, allowing participants to observe the capabilities of modern additive manufacturing equipment.

The PROMATAI project was presented by Assoc. Prof. Ľudmila Dulebová, who introduced the project objectives, research activities, and the ongoing work related to the processing of biocomposites. The presentation provided an opportunity to disseminate information about the project activities and exchange knowledge with participants interested in sustainable polymer materials and advanced processing technologies.

The seminar contributed to strengthening collaboration between researchers and industrial partners and supported the dissemination of knowledge in the field of innovative polymer processing within the framework of the PROMATAI project.
