In August-September 2024, the fourth secondment of PROMATAI project participants took place. The host organization was the Cerca Trova LTD. (CET, Bulgaria), which hosted representatives of four beneficiaries: Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Engineering of Polymer Materials and Dyes (IEP, Poland - 3 people), Lublin University of Technology (LUT, Poland – 8 people), University of West Attica (UWA, Greece – 4 people) and Technical University of Kosice (TUK, Slovakia – 4 people).

The guests were given a tour of the Cerca Trova LTD. All secondees and CET representatives worked on Task 1.4 “Computer simulation of the FOS”. The research activities were performed in CET and aimed at expanding seconded representatives' knowledge and experience. Teams focused on defining the problem, creating mathematical models of the FOS, formulating a program for the computer, checking the models' validity, planning simulation experiments, performing simulation runs, and analyzing the results.  Evaluation of the effectiveness of the FOS has been made based on a simulation of the pellet feeding process, allowing secondees to determine the theoretical maximum output of this process. All studies planned in Task 1.4 have been completed.
