In April and May 2025, the seventh secondment within the PROMATAI project was successfully carried out as part of Task 2.1: “Study of Adjusted Grooved Feed Section (AGFS) Solutions.”
The host institution, Lublin University of Technology (LUT), Poland, welcomed representatives from four partner organizations:
- University of West Attica (UWA), Greece – 4 participants
- Dirmeta UAB (DIR), Lithuania – 3 participants
- LPH a.s. (LPH), Slovakia – 3 participants
- Cerca Trova LTD. (CET), Bulgaria – 3 participants
During their stay, the visiting teams toured LUT’s laboratories and collaborated closely with local researchers. Together, they focused on the first task under Work Package 2 (WP2): “Unconventional Adjusted Grooved Feed Section (AGFS).”
The teams reviewed existing AGFS designs and jointly developed a new concept featuring longitudinal grooves with fixed cross-sections and variable parameters. Additionally, a standard smooth AGFS version was proposed for benchmarking purposes.
All planned activities under Task 2.1 have now been successfully completed.
