Project PROMATAI
On 22 April 2026, representatives of LPH a.s. presented the results of work carried out within the PROMATAI project at the Event Fest 2026 fair, held in Prague, Czech Republic.
Event Fest is the largest fair of venues, services, and agencies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia dedicated to the event industry. The event provides a space for active presentations, workshops, shows, inspiration, innovation, and networking. This year’s edition introduced new features in the EXPO programme section and offered the largest exhibition area in its history.
From 24 to 27 April 2026, the 24th Toruń Festival of Science and Arts took place in Toruń (Poland). Its main objective is to promote science and the arts among the local community and the wider region. The event brings together not only university staff, but also representatives of local enterprises and institutions, who present scientific and artistic achievements in an accessible and engaging way. During the festival, visitors have a unique opportunity to explore places that are usually not open to the public, such as research laboratories and creative workshops.
On 1 March 2026, representatives of LPH a.s. presented the results of work carried out within the PROMATAI project during the 5th edition of the Caravan Bike Travel 2026 exhibition, held in Nitra, Slovakia.
Caravan Bike Travel 2026 is a leading tourism-focused exhibition in Slovakia, attracting primarily visitors from across the country. The event is known for generating real and measurable engagement, going beyond a purely promotional or image-building function.
In January–February 2026, the 11th secondment within the PROMATAI project took place. The host organisation was the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials (IEP, Poland), which welcomed representatives from three beneficiaries: LPH a.s. (Slovakia, 3 participants), Cerca Trova Ltd. (Bulgaria, 3 participants), and Dirmeta UAB (Lithuania, 3 participants).
In 2026, the European research community celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), one of the European Union’s most prestigious and impactful research and innovation funding programmes. Since its launch in 1996, the programme has supported more than 150,000 researchers at all stages of their careers, fostering international mobility, interdisciplinary collaboration, and scientific excellence across Europe and beyond.
INNOFORM Trade Fair is the only event in Poland specifically tailored to the molding industry, held in the heart of Poland's Tool Valley – Bydgoszcz. Year after year, it attracts owners, management teams, and technical personnel from manufacturing facilities that utilize metalworking and plastics processing technologies. The event's greatest asset is the wide range of exhibitors showcasing their latest products and services for the industry. Equally important is the substantive program, which includes discussions on the most critical industry topics, held annually.
On February 11, 2026, a workshop training titled “Innovations, Data, and Equality” was held at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials in Toruń, Poland, as part of the PROMATAI project. The event was organized by the project coordinator, the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials.
On 28 January 2026, a workshop within the “Nauka Bliżej Ciebie” (“Science Closer to You”) 2026 cycle was held at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials (Łukasiewicz–IMPIB, IEP). The event provided an excellent opportunity to present the scientific achievements of the Institute’s researchers, including selected results developed within the PROMATAI project, to students and teachers from schools in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. This time, the participants were eighth-grade students from the Kornel Makuszyński Primary School in Zławieś Wielka.
In November–December 2025, the tenth secondment within the PROMATAI project took place.
The host organisation was the Technical University of Kosice (TUK, Slovakia), which welcomed representatives of three beneficiaries: the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Polymer Materials (IEP, Poland – 4 people), Cerca Trova Ltd. (CET, Bulgaria – 2 people), and Dirmeta UAB (DIR, Lithuania – 3 people).
